Once logged in hovering over this box will bring up an edit button. Click on the Pencil Icon which will take you to the text editor where you can
delete this example text and write your own description about you, your business and what you do. The more information the better, especially for search engines.
You can choose different font sizes and colours for the Heading and for the site content. You can also insert images by clicking on the image button above styles. You can either choose from Images you have previously uploaded to your Image folder or from your computer by clicking on, 'browse server.'
Click on the little Star Icon to edit the colour of the block background, the background Image, text colour, paragraph layout and content width.
To change the header or banner Image, click on Dashboard, Appearance, Header Slideshow where you can upload or choose from Images previously uploaded.
If you happen to switch this facility off, you can turn it back on in, Appearance, Heading Layout.
To upload your Logo. Create or resize your logo to 600px x 600px and upload in, Appearance, Heading Layout and in the first box you come to there is an option to Upload your logo here.
To edit the Header Bar. You can choose if you want a header bar above your banner and what you would like to display on it. Go to Dashboard, Appearance, Heading Layout, where you can turn the site header on from here then select what you want to display ther by adding up to 3 items. You can change the background colour of the header bar in Appearnce, Site Styles, Header Bar. Click update!
To Create a Footer. You can click on the Add Block Icon which will allow you to add any kind of block you can imagine but a text block, contact block or social media blocks can be quite useful down here.
Dont forget to click update!
To Add a Gallery. Click on the Add Block Icon. Select Gallery from the drop down menu, then select Add Block.
If you hover over where you added the Gallery block, you should see a row of icons, (star, pencil, cog etc)
If you click on the Cog Icon, it will take you to a page where you can either add individual Gallery Items Or seed the Gallery
with muiltiple Images from a folder. Here you can give the item a title or caption, add a link and also a description.
You can edit the Gallery items by clicking on the Pencil Icon, where you can choose how many columns you would like and the image height.
If you click on the Star Icon or Edit Styles, you can change the block/text colour, alter the opacity, content width and choose whether you want
a standard rectangular image or rounded corners.
